Shattered Bonds and a New Home (Invitation Only)

Fenris comes to an abrupt halt, the satchel on his back that contains his possessions thumps to the ground, watching the moving leaves on the bushes on the other side of the clearing, and drawing his sword with a quickened 'Shhhickk'.

Fenris' body is thickly muscled and he is breathing heavily, having travelled from the angel grounds to the forest without rest. His body is coated in sweat, and wearing only a ragged pair of trousers.

His amber eyes glow and he catches a whiff of another's scent... the scent to strong to be a simple animal. Stifling a bloodthirsty growl, he rasps a quickened, "Who is there?"

*still following him - shirt a bit torn and ragged - missing her usual baths and lifestyle, but instinctively feeling an urge to tag along, stumbles along behind him: managing to at least be quiet* .... w-why am i following this brute..? *blushing angrily at herself* ...h-he's not even a cat like me- *eyes his muscular form, but shakes her head: trying to get control of her animalistic instincts*

Fenris tosses a glance back at his charge, making the mistake of looking away... As his eye go off of the bushes and over to her a massively built boar charges from the bushes, hitting Fenris as he whirls, being tossed aside by the creatures charge...

His ribs are blackened from the immediate bruising, and he barely manages to keep hold of the weapon... "Run Kitten!" he gasps, slightly worried about her..

the red eyed beasts tusks are twin razors pointed at the winded wolf laguz

*angrily lets out her claws* q-quit treating me as helpless-! *yells at him: cheeks stinging*

Fenris has no time to argue, bringing his sword to bear against the creature... His shackle becoming a shield... He savagely hacks at the creatures head, but only catches a glancing blow on the monster. "Then help! We can eat real food tonight!" he grimaces as the beast slashes his thigh, causing a hot flow of red to start rushing down his leg

*runs at the boar and vaults over it: stabbing her claws deep into it's skull in the process: retracting her claws as she stands on the other side of it* ... d-destructive boys... *looks down at the wolf: troubled, as the boar keels over* ... th-there are more civil ways to do things. *looks over the rips in his clothing and scars* .... t-try not to die and leave me out here alone- o-ok-! *blushing* n-not that i'm worried for you...

"you are rather agile" I comment as I rip a hunk of leather out of my pants to tie around the wound. "I have had worse" I grimace in pain looking up at you...

"It may not comfort you... But I'm close to my home now..."

h-home..? *surprised: unsure of the wolf* ....you live somewhere-?

Everyone, everything... Has a home... Birds build nests, badgers dig burrows... I live in a cave. I hope your night vision is good, because its usually dark." he states as he points south

erm.. y-yea... *has horrible night vision, except when she's really trying to focus on it* .... o-of course... *mumbles* .... wolves are so different....(used to living with humans - finding it only slightly awkward to blend in)

Fenris hauls himself to his feet... Bones reforming as he partially shifts, getting stronger so as to drag the carcass of the monster... Heading south... "can you grab my satchel Eris?" he groans painfully

*quickly nods and grabs it: worried for him* - d-don't overexert yourself-! *catches herself* ... i-i mean....

Fenris hauls the rapidly stiffening corpse half of a mile to the entrance of the cave... His wound half healed due to his laguz heritage.

"home sweet home" he ironically states, looking to the low entrance, "though its bigger inside" he draws his sword and begins to clean her kill... Removing flesh and organs...

*sickened, looks away* ....c-can i use a bathroom..? *mumbles: forgetting it's just a cave*

"There are bushes over there..." Fenris gives a short laugh... "do you want real clothes?" he offers as he finishes removing the hide...

*angrily lashes her tail* i-i'mfine-! *only just now looks down at her tattered shirt: blushing heavily as she realizes it's covering very little of her, but refuses to accept help* ...n-no.. i-it's fine.

Fenris gives a shrug, buried up to the elbows in his task of removing the viscera and cutting away large sections of meat for storage... "If you don't have clothes..." gives a look at your rapidly weathered clothes that are so unsuited for the woods "it will be your own fault "

*opens her mouth to argue, but shuts it again mutely: angrily blushing* .... b-brute-! *unable to help but admire him - even if she hates to admit it*

Fenris finishes his task of cleaning the corpse... Dragging the bones into the cave entrance and hanging the pelt from a high branch...

He takes most of the meat into a deep alcove in his cave.

"The organs need to be disposed of soon..." he says as he walks by on one of his trips in and out of the cave

*feels her stomach grumble, hesitantly approaching the wolf* .... d-do we have a fire-? i-i can't just meat raw. *knows she can, but is sickened by the concept - forgetting that she was treated like a princess in comparison to the wolf*

"I'll make a fire after I am finished storing and disposing of this corpse." he says, arms full of meat and giving her a disdainful glance

work comes before food out here." he says again. Dropping off the load and gathering up the gross and messy viscera to carry away for disposal

*nearly gags at the sight: has to look away - coughing* .... g-gross... h-how can you live like this-

"I've lived out here for years... Don't even notice." he carries the organs away... Eating the heart like an apple out of her sight

*tries to tell herself that she can do this and prove you wrong* ... j-just because we lived differently, doen't make me weaker- o-ok? *stomach still squirming, stops talking for a moment to cough again*

"we can eat when the work is done... Grab the water barrel and get some water from the lake....." he says... Then adds "please" as he begins setting a fire
