Encounter (open)

I was walking around the Plains investigating an unknown tip of their being a few rogue vampires on the loose. "where could they be?" I say to myself

Damien walks out from the wood line in his cat form just as he catches what The man says. He then begins to sneak up around him and tries to stay hidden.

I stop Immediately sensing something around "There's no use in sneaking around me...I know someones there."

Damien walks up to him and sits in front of him. "What are you doing here." He stares at the person invading home.

I look at him "I got an anonymous tip on a band of Rogue Vampire's in the area... Do you know anything at all?" I give him a piece of paper "these men are on my target list have you possibly seen them around here?"

Damien changes into his human form and takes the paper. "There is nothing but animals and a few others that live like I do, no Vampires here."

I put the piece of paper away and then relaxed a bit "Sorry for just demanding answer" I held out my hand "I'm Quindaro... who might you be? if I may ask"

Damien ignores his handshake and replies. "Damien."

I put my hand down "Well Damien since you know these parts better than I do could you possibly show me where passerby's might go?"

"Nope." I begin to walk away, bored with the person's bantering.

Not knowing what to think I continue on and pull out my field journal and compass turned to the page with a map for the area "Lets see the tip gave me a general area I should look..." I continued on 3 miles north. After hitting the 3 mile mark I see something in the distance... a plume of smoke "What could that be?" I wondered as I walk towards it

I make it back to my camp where my fish that I caught are just about done cooking on the fire and check my well hidden traps around my camp before I sit down to eat.

I walk a little further into the trees then out of no where a snare caught my leg and pulls me up 20 ft or so and dangles me there. "well fuck...." I whisper to myself

Damien hears one of his traps go off and and goes to investigate it. He finds Quindaro stuck in a snare and slowly walks up to him.

I look at Damien "this it your trap? *sigh* can I be cut loose please?"

"Why?" I stare at him and lean against a tree. "Hanging there suits you just fine."

A kunai flies through the air and cuts the rope from which Quin is now suspended. A figure appears from the darkness of the nearby trees.
"If you're going to trap another person, you'd better make sure it's not somebody I know."
I walked forward into the light,
"Hi, Masaaki Amaterasu at your service."

I fall flat on my back "OOF! ouch.......Masaaki next time notify me before cutting me down from 20 feet in the air...please"

"He was stupid enough to get trapped in it." I watch them with a close eye, not trust either of them.

'It's funny that you're giving me that look. What are you hiding? You've camped out here for about a week now, so what are you trying to accomplish?"

"I'm hiding nothing and yes I've been in this location for a week, I but these woods are my home." Damien keep an eye on him as he sets the traps off as if he knows exactly where they are.

"Then why act so strangely around other people? Is is because you live reclusively or is there another reason you've called this meadow home?"

"Thats none of your business, now leave before I make you." Damien changes into his cat form ready to pounce them if they don't comply.

I get up and dust myself off "it's alright Masaaki it's not like I've been mortally wounded I'm the one at fault" I start to walk away "sorry for the mis-understanding."

"Touchy... I merely came here to resolve a possible conflict, instead it appears I've made one. I'll leave you to go about your business. Sorry for the harshness, hope we meet again." I said, merging back with the shadows from whence I came.
