Walking the Mall (open)

Today I had nothing special going on or anything to really do so I head to the mall and just started to walk around "Wow they really expanded the size of this mall!" I said in surprise. I decided to travel light today by only carrying my revolvers along with a less armored vest. I sit down and I enjoy the quiet of the afternoon.

Drago is sleeping soundly in the middle of the mall under shady trees.It's been a long time since he had any good sleep and boy was he enjoying it.Noone cared if he was sleeping they just walked right past him.He had his tail wrapped arround him and his head tucked into his arm.He looked like a sleeping cat!He has yet to notice Quindaro sitting at a table nearby.

I continued to mind my own business until I heard a sneeze to the right of me. I look over my shoulder "Drago?" I whispered, I walked over beside him and sat down. I thought to myself "I'll wait for him to wake up." I took out my field journal and started writing.

Drago continued to sleep.Then his ears twitched to the sound of someone writing.His eyes slowly open until he realizes he woke up.He sits up against the tree and he stretches his arms as he lets out a yawn."That was the best sleep I had in years."He turns around only to see Quindaro writing in a notebook."Oh hey,when did you get here."He says while half asleep.

I look at Drago then my watch "Oh about an hour" I put my field journal away "Just thought since you were there I'd rather sit here under this tree rather than at a table!"

Drago looks a bit weirded out since he can barely process anything still being half asleep."So what are you doing here?"

"I was actually window shopping until I wanted to write in my Field Journal then I saw you and thought I would follow suit under such a comfy tree" I said while popping my neck.

"This tree is what made me fall asleep in the first place.The shade is perfect,the grass is soft,it's quiet,people won't disturb you,and the sun won't get in your eyes.Stay here will reading a good book and you won't notice even drifting off."He gets up and starts stretching when a book falls to the floor.The book title read All poems by Edgar Allan Poe.

I reached down to the book "you sure that it wasn't this boo that put you to sleep?" I said chuckling "I can't read Edgar Allen Poe books without falling asleep."

"If anything that book kept me awake.I love his poems ever since i was a kid.They are suppose to be scary but I find them very interesting."

"I see...Tbh I've never been a fan."I get up and start walking down the hall while stretching out. "you hungry?" I say while walking to the food court "Lunch is on me!"

"Sounds good.Where are you planning to go?"He says while holding his stomach thats growling.

On the way to the food court I pull out my wallet "well where do you wanna go?" (name any resturaunt)

"Your the one with the wallet I honestly don't care as long as it has meat in it."He follows Quin.

I head to a Burger Joint and I take a seat. I look at Drago "Order whatever you want it's all on me!"

He sits down and looks at the menu.Nah,I'll just order something that isn't to much so I don't end up making this guy broke."I'll take the number 3 combo then."Yeah,I'll just take that,it's cheap and it's a lot for only 5 bucks.

Quin looks over at Drago "if that's what you want..." I order a pork tender "So anything been going on with you?" I take a big bite out of my pork tender.

"Nothing much,there was only this one girl that caught my eyes but I don't know what to do."He says as he takes a bite of the burger.He picks up a fry and says."I will take a fry,AND EAT IT."He tosses the french fry into his mouth and snaps his mouth shut and eats and swallows the fry.

"Quite a large proclamation for a singular french fry" I say while laughing. "pretty crazy what happened the other day right?"

"Yep,I am still trying to find out who wrote the note but meh."He throws a few more fries into his mouth and eats them and take a sip of his drink."Tomorrow is Valentines Day and it's just gonna be me and Call Of Duty I guess.It will be a miracle if some girl showed up right now."

I look down at my food "The girl I asked out friendzoned me." I get really depressed
"so I'll probably be at the pub."

"Ah the friend zone,it's the hell but for your.....nevermind."He takes a sip from his soda to end the awkwardness."Yeah I don't think I would be joining you since I don't drink."

"who said I was going to drink?" I look at Drago "I just hang at the pub and wait for something interesting WHILE drinking a root beer." I take 3 gulps of my soda.

"Alright then.Fine I will come too only to see if I can find someone.And maybe JUST MAYBE.Go out.Because a good date end with dinner and a great one ends with breakfast.I mean,what?"He takes a quick sip of his soda and darts his eyes back and forth.

I lay my head on the table "Ugh why does this holiday even exist for single people?" *groans*
